Today, 8 August, is a day dedicated to celebrating the incredible little creatures who somehow manage to take over our homes, our couches, our beds… and very quickly, our hearts. ❤️🐱
International Cat Day was first established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to celebrate cats while raising awareness about their welfare, protection and wellbeing. Since 2020, custodianship of International Cat Day has been with International Cat Care, continuing the worldwide focus on improving the lives of cats. 🌿🐾
At Urban Woodcraft Catios, that message is particularly close to our hearts.
We believe cats should be able to experience the sights, smells, sunshine and stimulation of the outdoors — while still being protected from the dangers that come with roaming freely. 🌿☀️🐈
Because a catio isn't simply an enclosure.
It's a place to climb. Explore. Nap. Watch. Play. Hide. Pounce. And simply be a cat. 🐾
