Take a look at that cabling. 👀

The work people don’t see is the part we’re proudest of. A clean inverter room and properly routed cabling isn’t about looks. It’s about a system that’s safe, easy to fault-find and easy to extend again in a few years’ time.

This site is in Riverhorse Valley, KZN. Composed of a 175.63 kWp array across 281 Tier 1 panels, running on a Sungrow 150 kW inverter.

Five hundred kilometres from our workshop, in Manguzi, there is a shopping centre that serves a community with very few alternatives for miles around.

Last week we switched on its solar system.

245.52 kWp. 396 panels. Two Sigenergy 110 kW inverters. For the people who shop there, it means lights that stay on, fridges that keep running and a centre that keeps trading.

This is the part of the job we like most. Not the kilowatts, but what they hold up. In a town this remote, a shopping centre is not only a shopping centre. It is where people buy their food, draw their money and do their business.

Getting a build of this size that far north took weeks of planning and a team willing to spend a long time away from home. They did an excellent job.

Who says a KZN solar team can't power up the Cape?

We've just wrapped up a 75.64 kWp commercial system in Constantia, Cape Town, and it's a beauty. 122 Tier 1 panels are soaking up that Western Cape sun, a Fox ESS 60 kW inverter keeps everything running smoothly, and 80.2 kWh of high-voltage battery storage means the lights stay on when the grid doesn't.

Whether you're in Cape Town, Joburg or anywhere in between, we'll bring the power to you. 📍

When we installed the original system at this site, we did not design it only for the demand of the day. We sized the infrastructure to be expanded, so that when the business grew, the system could grow with it.

That is exactly what has happened. As the client's operations expanded and their energy needs increased, we returned to build on what was already there.

The addition of 260 panels brings 162.5 kWp of new capacity online, taking the site to 487.5 kWp in total.

No redesign. No rebuild. That is the difference that an EPC makes. We design for where a business is going, not only where it is today.

Planning for growth at your site? We would be glad to talk it through.

Phase 1 is underway in Riverhorse Valley.

Our team is on site this week mounting and securing this 175.63kWp array, with the cabling and connection work to follow.

Before a commercial system can produce power, it needs a safe path from the roof to the inverters. This week our team ran heavy DC cable along the roof trusses of a busy warehouse, working metres above the floor.

Harnesses on, lanyards clipped, exclusion zone in place, and the client's operations kept running the whole time underneath.

We are proud of our team for this neat, safe cabling. Properly secured DC cable is vital for protecting it from sagging, collapsing, rubbing, and wear, which lowers the risk of faults and makes the system easier to inspect and maintain.

New site loading… 🏗️

This week, the team's on-site in Riverhorse Valley, kicking off another commercial solar installation with 175.63 kWp going up on a roof that's currently empty space.

If your business has roof space doing nothing, this is what it could be doing instead.

We’re heading back to an existing grid-tied site for a system extension, adding 260 additional panels and 162.5 kWp of new solar capacity.

Once complete, the expanded system will bring the site to around 487.5 kWp of total solar capacity. A great example of how a well-designed commercial system can continue to grow alongside a business.

Meet Phelo, the man behind our cable trays.

Phelo takes great pride in every cable tray run he works on across our sites. Carefully measuring, cutting and shaping each section to keep the installation safe, precise and up to the standard we expect at 365 Solar.

And his attention to detail matters.

Sharp edges in cable trays or wireways can rub against and cut into DC cables over time. So every edge, bend and route needs to be properly finished and carefully thought through.

Keeping those cables protected and correctly supported is an important part of building a safe and reliable installation.

At 365 Solar, passion isn’t just something we talk about. You can see it in the work.

Ingwavuma, wrapped up and onto the next.

Another commercial energy project completed in northern KZN, delivered quickly and efficiently from site work through to final completion.

It’s always rewarding to see a project come together, especially when the end result supports more reliable operations, lower energy costs and stronger long-term resilience for local retail.

A good finish, a great team effort, and now it’s on to the next site.
