We partnered with Link FM to give 10 lucky women the opportunity to attend a self-defence course facilitated by Liesel Bezuidenhout at Body Culture Health & Wellness Centre

The ladies wrapped up their training this morning feeling equipped with practical self-defence skills and greater confidence in their ability to protect themselves when faced with a threatening situation.

An attempted break-in was interrupted after our Broubart iCentre spotted two individuals via our AI CCTV cameras acting suspiciously outside a shop in Vincent and dispatched a Reaction Officer to investigate.

The suspects attempted to flee on arrival, but one was apprehended and handed over to Cambridge SAPS. A shop window had been broken, with footage indicating that the individuals were attempting to enlarge the opening to gain entry. Our iCentre shared footage with the responding officer and notified the shopโ€™s contracted alarm company.

Well done to our Reaction Officer and iCentre team for their vigilance, swift intervention, and teamwork.

Supporting those who support our community

In Dec 2026, Sonnette Stander will be taking on an epic 9-day climb of Kilimanjaro, whilst raising funds for Guardians of Hope SA , a place of safety for vulnerable children.

Her intensive training program is underway, and Broubart has stepped in to ensure Sonnetteโ€™s safety during her long solo hiking sessions.

Broubart was pleased to support the gathering of Clarendon High School for Girls and Stirling High School Matric Class of 2026 at Nahoon Beach, as the learners came together after their Valedictory Assemblies for the traditional last day of school ocean swim.

Our role was to support the event through a visible security presence and patrols, helping to promote a safe environment for the excited students.

We wish all the matriculants of 2026 the best of luck with their final exam preparation.
