Preventative Assistance at Marine Circle

On 01/10/2026 at approximately 00:54, while standing down at Marine Circle, Kwena Fortis KF1 noticed three women who appeared to be highly intoxicated entering a vehicle.

Responders approached the group and established that they were not in a suitable condition to safely operate the vehicle.

KF1 made contact with one of the women, who provided details of where they were staying. In the interest of their safety and the safety of other road users, KF1 escorted the group safely to their accommodation.

The assistance was completed without further incident, with KF1 standing down at approximately 01:23.

We commend the KF1 team for taking a proactive approach and helping prevent a potentially dangerous situation before it could escalate.

Joint Visibility Operation Completed

On 30/09/2026, Kwena Fortis KF1 joined Parklands Neighbourhood Watch and fellow security and community partners for a joint high-visibility operation in the area.

The operation brought multiple role players together to strengthen visibility and provide a proactive security presence within the community.

Motor Vehicle Accident on the R27

On 29/09/2026 at approximately 15:54, Kwena Fortis Mike One responded to a radio call regarding a motor vehicle accident on the R27 near Eskom, in the direction of Table View.

Upon arrival, it was established that two vehicles had been involved in a collision. Mike One made contact with Law Enforcement officials already on scene, who confirmed that the situation was under control.

EMS 76 attended to an elderly female involved in the accident and conducted a medical assessment to check for any injuries.

SRG and Urban Towing were also in attendance, assisting with the management of the scene.

Once everything was confirmed to be in order, the scene was handed over to Law Enforcement for further management. All responding units subsequently cleared the scene at approximately 16:26.

Strength in Numbers on Parklands Main Road

This morning, Kwena Fortis joined forces with Parklands Neighbourhood Watch and fellow security partners for a high-visibility operation along Parklands Main Road.

Our teams were joined by Star Alarms, ASAR and Fidelity ADT, creating a strong and visible presence throughout the area.

Initiatives like these allow security companies and community structures to work together, increase visibility and remain proactive in keeping our neighbourhoods safe.

Response to Domestic Violence Incident at Waters Edge

On 28/09/2026 at approximately 18:45, Kwena Fortis KF1 and M1 responded to a Community Watch call regarding a reported domestic violence incident involving a fi***rm at Waters Edge, Big Bay.

Upon arrival, Table View SAPS and Star Alarms were already on scene. The suspect, who was reportedly involved in an assault on his partner, had fled the scene before responders arrived.

Kwena Fortis, Star Alarms, Table View SAPS and members of the public assisted with coordinated efforts to locate the suspect. He was subsequently located in the Seaside Village area and apprehended by responding officers.

The complainant requested that SAPS arrange for the suspect to be transported to New Somerset Hospital for further assistance.

The incident was brought under control and all responding units departed at approximately 19:35.

Response to House Burglary in Amble Way

On 28/09/2026 at approximately 11:44, Mike 1 responded to information received over the radio from Alpha 1 regarding a suspected house burglary at Amble Way.

Upon arrival, Mike 1 found the residents outside the property. They reported that unknown suspects had gained entry through a window and stolen a fi***rm and bank cards.

A neighbour reported seeing two males and a blue sedan parked outside the property between approximately 10:00 and 10:30.

SAPS ES28, including Sergeant Makalima, arrived on scene and the incident was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

All responding units subsequently departed at approximately 13:03.
