A new hillside home taking shape in Seaton.

The site gives us coastal views on one side and forest on the other, so the house is split to make the most of both. The outdoor living pavilion sits high and opens to the garden, while the gabled bedroom wing and main living wing offers a recessed panoramic ocean vista. Below, timber screening tucks the garage out of sight, and the planted edge above will soften the whole thing a little more every season.

Off to stage 1 review next week. Fingers crossed!

Up above, things are taking shape. 🏗️

A big milestone on our Salta Estate project as the roof slab over the upper ground floor is poured.

Another step closer to seeing the spaces we’ve designed come to life, from lines on a page to something you can actually stand beneath.

We’ll take that as progress. 👀

Our answer: 10–20% of your total build budget.
Because even with the best planning, unexpected costs can (and usually do!) pop up.
It’s always better to have a buffer you don’t need than to need one you don’t have. 👀
