I’ve headed down the Fusion paint road with the dresser. There were too many rips in the wood veneer to keep it natural.

I had to graft areas with veneer removed from other sections and because of the pattern of the veneer, it was impossible to match.

It’s been 3 years since I created this page, and then had zero time and zero workspace to get creating.
Last year we built a workshop and I now find myself with the time and the desire to get back at it again!

I love refinishing furniture so there will be a little bit of that with some new ventures sprinkled in.

Today I ordered epoxy - with the intent of building myself a desk (with the help of my very handy husband) made of live edge maple, with the knot holes and empty spaces filled with black epoxy.

I’ll have to start small with some coasters until I get the hang of using epoxy. Should be fun!

I stood and stared at this beauty yesterday for about half hour or more, trying to figure out what to do with it. I’ve had it for years and it has moved quite a bit, been in storage and had things stacked on it - it’s in tougher condition than I’d like.
