Farming is on hold again due to the wet conditions, so I spent the day in the office working on an exciting upgrade for this winter. Our new routing software—specifically designed for residential snow contractors like Nafziger Snow Removal—was today’s main project.
This system allows us to build the most efficient route possible for our lanes. It also GPS-tracks our tractors and time-stamps each driveway upon arrival and completion. You can choose to receive alerts by text, email, or even landline. When we’re 10–20 minutes away, you’ll automatically get a notification so you have plenty of time to move vehicles or clear the driveway area.
This software helps us deliver exceptional customer service, storm after storm.
I previously subcontracted for a company that used this software and operated inverted snowblowers for several winters, and I’m excited to now offer the same level of refined, reliable residential snow removal service locally.

Due to the rain farming is on hold and blower maintenance is in full swing , currently we are changing out a snow blower fan that’s 5 blades for an engineered 4 blade to help move the snow away from the auger and through the chute more efficiently . The other 2 Normand’s got new cutting edges and a service and are ready to go . This is the last piece of the puzzle 👍🏻

At Nafziger Snow Removal we use inverted snow blowers. This allows us to back up to your garage door and pull the snow ahead so you don’t have to deal with a big pile infront of the garage like a conventional blower leaves behind. They are equipped with tivar cutting edges as well to avoid scratching the laneway.
