Been a bit slack on the socials lately, but this was one of the first jobs that was done after the honeymoon.

Another front door replacement, swapping an industrial style aluminium door for a new custom meranti door and side lite. The black Gainsborough Trilock style door handle really finishes it off!

We recently renovated this deck getting rid of the old and tired Silvertop ash boards, installing new joists, and reinstalling fresh Eva-Last composite decking boards in Swiss Oak, adding many more years of life to the area.

We have just set off to Bali on our honeymoon, so will be a bit slack on the socials for a couple of weeks.. but please don’t be afraid to get in touch through email or Facebook and we will get back to you as soon as we get back!

Last week we gave this little bay window roof a much needed freshen up, as it was leaking and was home to a hive of bees! 🐝

Replacing the timber slats with colorbond sheets and proper flashings aswell as new fascia, eaves and guttering has saved this old timber window from eventually needing replacement and also looks a lot cleaner!

Barn doors are in at the moment… another set done for a different client.

Had my “apprentice” help hang them with me on Friday, will have some photos to follow once they’ve been finished off with some staining!

Today we installed a custom barn door to seperate a kitchen and mudroom, this will help keep the heat in the main part of the house and also looks great!

We recently installed this custom timber window designed and built by Miller Timber Joinery. It has been done to match the left hand side of the house, making it more appealing from the front and also bringing a whole lot more natural light into the room! Just needs some paint and it will look unreal.

Also we are on the lookout for a bricklayer who is keen to finish the outside for us! If you can do it or know of someone who can, please reach out! 🧱

Out with the old, and in with the new today!

Replaced an old weather damaged front door and jamb with a new solid meranti door and enviroseal, featuring full length translucent side lights to bring in more natural light.

Thought we’d introduce ourselves!

I’m Jack and this is my fiancé Romi and we’re the faces behind Curnow Carpentry.

I started Curnow Carpentry to take the next step in my career and set ourselves up for the future.

We have loved working closer with clients and creating what they envision, as well as working in with other builders and trades.

So far we have done pergolas, concrete, gyprocking, bathroom renos and the list goes on…
