The Second Eden Project We are The Second Eden Project. We are 2 US Army Vets who want to give back to the world through cle Why use a 7 year life-cycle?

We will build a large number of carbon farms across the nation for the benefit of all. By using Tactical Forestry we will implement Poplar tree farms on a 7 year life cycle, culling and replanting. The wood harvested will be donated to places like Habitat For Humanity, various public works including playgrounds for schools, and used to facilitate further construction of sites as needed. At the end

of 7 years a Poplar tree will have absorbed as much carbon as is possible and is generally fully grown. By using the 7 year model we will have a greater impact much sooner than any other method except Algae ponds, which will also be built on our first project site.
