With the methodology defined, Dallas Watt Demo structured the project into clear, logical phases: investigations and permitting, mobilization, deconstruction, waste management, and site turnover. Each phase included defined deliverables and decision points to manage risk and maintain control.
Safety, environmental, and stakeholder requirements were integrated from the outset. Hazardous materials protocols, dust control, waste handling, and community communication were built directly into the roadmap, not added later.
Given the complexity of the takedown, we included schedule buffers, formal risk reviews, engineering validation, and peer reviews to ensure the plan remained resilient.
Early planning allowed us to identify critical path activities, coordinate engineering and logistics efficiently, and forecast material volumes, truck movements, and bin requirements, reducing downtime and minimizing conflict on site. High-risk activities were identified early, enabling advanced safety planning, emergency procedures, exclusion zones, and crew training.
Ultimately, this approach aligned all stakeholders around realistic timelines and shared expectations.
At Dallas Watt Demo, we believe precision in demolition starts long before the first cut it starts with planning by intent.
