Our Story
Peter and Doreen Szmata opened the doors to Szmata Transit mix back in 1964. In 1969, it became Szmata Concrete & Aggregates Ltd. Peter lived and breathed the company until March of 2017, when he retired and his youngest son, Sheldon, took over. Sheldon and Krystle hope to pass the company down to their two young sons, Everet and Krystian, one day.
