We are very excited to put the finishing touches on the last phase of currently planned construction at the new Cedar Falls High School. It has been an amazing opportunity for our company to be a part of building the new high school over the past several years! Congratulations to all that put in the time and effort to make the Tiger Performance center a reality!

The FINAL PHASE bid has been approved for the SCHEELS Tiger Performance Center by the Cedar Falls Community School District Board of Education on Friday, April 27, 2026.

The $3.268M bid by Peters Construction of Waterloo was accepted. The phase 2 final bid will include paint, HVAC, lightning, signs/graphics, overhead doors, accessories and flooring. We are incredibly grateful for the many donors who have supported this project and to the dedicated fundraising committee!

Construction will continue on the facility with anticipated opening in late 2026/early 2027!
