A whole lot of prep work went into this project. Our clients reached out for a roof replacement and the first thing we saw after the roof was their incredible deck which needed a TON of protection. Thank you very much to our clients for selecting Armour Construction and a special thanks to Josh Kisela and for all their hard work and extra care keeping this property safe. Been quite a while since our last project post but the is back at it, this time in St. John. Our client upgraded to GAF - Roofing UHDZ Weathered Wood shingles with a Golden Pledge warranty. The UHDZ is a class 3 shingle designed to withstand hail up to 1.75" in diameter. Pairing the UHDZ shingle with the industry-best Golden Pledge warranty makes for a roof system that will protect our client's investment for years to come. The much-anticipated renovation of this specatuclar downtown Valpo victorian is well underway. We started with the roof, using CertainTeed Landmark PRO Max Def espresso shingles. then removed all of the aluminum siding, insulated the stud cavities, installed new substrate on the walls and have begun hanging James Hardie fiber cement. You can see the custom pink color starting to come to life as we make our way up the walls. We will have more to share once everything has been completed.

Friday night was the 2025 Valpo Chamber of Commerce Salute to Leadership event. Armour Construction was one of the companies to be given an award for 25 years of business and we would like to thank the Valpo Chamber for this honor. It's truly special to celebrate 25 years in business right here in our hometown.
