Here is a lovely bathroom I tiled recently in real marble tiles on both the walls and floors in the Cleadon area.

The old, knackered floor was over boarded with cement boards prior to tiling to strengthen.

Marble needs to be machine cut so can be a chew on but the pay off, especially with the diagonal checkerboard style is very nice 😎👍

I was recently asked to tile a splashback in a newly fitted kitchen in South Shields with large format tiles (for a splash back) and also tidy up existing areas of the kitchen which used to have cladding on so the walls were a mess.

I was told it didn’t really matter about the heights and things lining up etc just as long as the areas were tiled, but you’ve got to do things properly haven’t you? 😎

Customer delighted, fits in nicely with their new kitchen. Labour intensive with all of the cuts like but very smart in the end 🙌⭐️

Yesterday I got the very sad news that Tile Giant at Western Approach has closed with immediate effect along with all of the other Tile Giant stores.

Than you to Paul, Michael, Tracy and Cameron for your help over the years as a shoo local to my house at the time I used to start off and load up for jobs there 99% of the time.

Paul especially has been a source of great knowledge for me and helped me loads of new products and all the carry in that comes with tiling.

Thanks to all of you the jobs and referring me to customers all of these years I’m very grateful to you all.

For anyone who has been in the shop you will no doubt have found the staff very helpful too.

Good luck with wherever the future takes you all.

These tiles aren’t for everyone and don’t suit every style of house. However, when they do, they create amazing hallways !😎👌

Floorboards had to be overlaid with concrete boards, glued and screwed before tiling.

The end result is lovely 🤩
