The last 3 days have been some of the most stressful I’ve had . Have worked constantly to keep groundwater out of the house due to the amazing amount of moisture we have had in June . With the help of my amazing wife , we have kept the basement dry . I can’t stress enough to people who have sump pits , check the pit and the pump often if it’s taking water and verify that the pump is installed correctly and functioning like it should . And if you live in Black Forest , keep on eye on your septic . The water table is EXTREMELY high and your field may be struggling to accept more water …..
