Join Our Growing Roofing Team – Vancouver Island
We’re looking for a skilled Torch-On / Flat Roofer to join our crew! If you take pride in quality workmanship and want steady local work with a solid team, we want to hear from you.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Install 2-ply SBS systems, coverboard, insulation & slope packages
Torch-on membrane installation, repairs & retrofits
Remove old roofing materials and prep surfaces
Measure, calculate, and plan roofing materials
Apply sealants/adhesives for waterproofing
Work with multiple roofing systems (BUR, Modified, Single-Ply, etc.)
🎓 Certificates & Assets (Not Mandatory, but a Plus):
Red Seal Roofer Ticket
Fall Protection, First Aid, WHMIS
Safety Training & Hot Work Experience (open flame, heat welding)
đź’Ş Skills & Requirements:
2+ years of roofing experience (Torch-on preferred)
Knowledge of materials, safety, and installation techniques
Able to work at heights & in all weather
Strong attention to detail & teamwork
Physically fit (lifting 50–100 lbs)
Own vehicle & valid driver’s license
Own PPE & basic tools (hard hat, harness, boots, etc.)
đź› Equipment Experience an Asset:
Torches, Nail Guns, Drills, Saws, Compressors, etc.
🌎 Work Environment:
Residential & Commercial
Outdoors, heights, fast-paced, hands-on
đź’µ Compensation:
$25.00 – $40.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Permanent | Overtime Available
đź—“ Schedule:
8–12 Hour Shifts (Weekdays)
Some Weekends & OT
📍Work Location: In Person – Vancouver Island & Surrounding Areas
