Before & After: Tub-to-Shower Conversion

That old garden tub nobody used is gone. In its place: white subway tile running clean to the ceiling, a black hex floor, and two built-in niches stacked on the wall.

Same footprint, completely different bathroom. You get storage built into the wall instead of a caddy hanging off the showerhead, a full walk-in shower where a tub used to eat the whole space, and a room you'll actually use every day.
