How does Architect's being paid?

Architects Fees is paid in cumulative percentage with equivalent services rendered. In the given chart below, it describes the percentage of cumulative fee in the upper portion and in the lower portion enumerates what comprises of the services to be rendered by the Architect for him to charge such fee to the Client. Every detail of Architects work shall be compensated in its equivalent in order that the Architects fee commensurate to what the Client deserved and expected for the proposed project.

The work of an Architect is not to provide an instant drawing that will not fit for its proper use and purpose, but to provide design solution described in each phases of Architect services as provided in the chart below.

An Architect is not just a draft person or a CAD person, an Architect is the scientist of your home. They innovate, they invent, they convert waste into a useful things such as converting your waste materials into furniture, chandelier, and convert spaces into a useful habitable place.

Note that Architects are not into the business of Construction as Contractors, they are more than a Contractors, because they are Architects... non-other than being an Architect, your Architect.

B-Hut. An oasis at the heart of Makati 🏙️

The team wanted to provide a makeover to the client’s roof deck to give them a place to reflect and relax after long working hours.

Adeya Design developed a concept of a farmer’s resting hut in a rice field. The team incorporated an open-type hut for space flexibility and natural ventilation while maximizing the sunrise and sunset scenes of the roof deck. Considering ‘firmitas’ in our design, we utilized tubular metals as our primary material for our structural frame. At the same time, our roof is covered with multilayers of membrane and roof tiles to withstand heavy wind conditions. Heavy wood on our deck space reduces the heat on the lower floor and provides passive cooling on our platform space.

For the landscape, the team developed plant boxes to contain the plants' growth within manageable means. Bamboo poles shaded the afternoon sun while taking advantage of gabbing leaves. Horsetail plants were the transition of mini bamboo into a rice-like shrub enough to cover the deck space on both sides. Selloum plants were chosen to absorb the maximum sunlight and provide broader and larger leaves needed on the deck space, and at last, the Calachuchi tree, a mid-size tree giving flowers, will be the perfect tree for a heat-heavy roof deck.

Now, the client has the perfect space to have a coffee at sunrise, cool down during sunsets, and relax with a movie or fellowship while enjoying the night breeze.
