🚨 A $400K home should not look like this before the exterior is even finished.
Loose housewrap. Exposed sheathing. Torn weather barrier. Poorly detailed window flashing. Multiple openings in what is supposed to be the home’s moisture and air-control system.
This is exactly why “just getting it built” is not the same thing as getting it built correctly.
Once siding goes over this, most homeowners will never see the problem again — until the issues show up later as water intrusion, air leakage, mold concerns, rot, failed windows, or higher energy bills. By then, everyone is pointing fingers and the homeowner is left paying for someone else’s lack of care.
At WL3 Designs, we do not approach homes this way.
✅ We design with the full assembly in mind.
✅ Structure.
✅ Building envelope.
✅ Drainage.
✅ Flashing.
✅ Waterproofing.
✅ Energy performance.
✅ Long-term durability.
The drawings matter. The details matter. The sequencing matters. The inspection points matter.
Because a beautiful rendering means nothing if the home is being assembled in a way that traps future problems inside the walls.
If you are building, remodeling, or about to start construction, do not wait until it is covered up to ask whether it was done right.
Have the plans reviewed.
Have the site conditions reviewed.
Have the envelope details reviewed before they become expensive repairs.
WL3 Designs helps homeowners and builders get ahead of these problems before they are buried behind stucco, siding, drywall, and excuses.
🏡 Design it right.
📐 Detail it right.
🔨 Build it right.
