Great start to the year at Gaughan Electrical ⚡️

We’ve kicked things off with a busy few weeks installing plenty of chargers, helping customers future-proof their homes and take advantage of smarter, more efficient charging.

Ohme products continue to impress with their reliability, smart tariff integration and overall ease of use — making them a solid choice for homeowners moving into EV ownership.

It’s great to see more people making the switch to electric and investing in quality installations done properly from day one.

Looking forward to a strong year ahead with plenty more projects in the pipeline 🚗⚡️

**PERSONAL POST DISCLAIMER FROM JOE**

In April 2026, I will be taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon in support of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity — a cause that’s extremely close to our hearts, and one that our business is proud to be a patron of. 💛

The Principle Trust Children’s Charity provides free respite holidays for disadvantaged, underprivileged, and disabled children across Yorkshire. Their amazing work gives hundreds of families the chance to enjoy precious time together — offering fun, laughter, and memories that can last a lifetime. 🌊🏖️

Every step of this marathon will be dedicated to helping The Principle Trust continue giving children the opportunities and happiness they deserve. Your support will make a genuine difference. 🙏🏻

I will be doing lots of challenges throughout the journey and plan on pushing my mind and body to its absolute limit to try raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.

Some more installs from the team last week.

Some companies are frightened to tackle jobs that are slightly out of the usual “standard” install bracket.

Last week our engineer Aidan completed 2 installs that fell massively outside of the standard install bracket. One of them being through an old Mill Race where he had to wear wellies due to mud and water underfoot. The other being, up into a customers loft, down the other side hiding as much cable as possible due to aesthetic requests.

Upon completion I had a call from both customers who acknowledged the hard work and appreciated us going above and beyond.
