We had a large shutdown at one of our clients were we installed and upgrade plenty of machinery.
On the oven we installed a fan system that will suck the smoke from the door that would escape from the seems. When the door opens the fan will automatically speed up and remove the remaining smoke.

This week we had a breakdown on a faulty start delta starter where the timmer and the overload packed up and burnt the motor on the mill.
We replaced the control gear with a new VSD panel and brought down the running cost significantly , running amps on start delta was 15.5amps and now it is 5.3amps. Also saving on the demand charge as it is about 60% lower after the new panel was installed.
Our customer is smiling all the way to the bank.

Earlier this week we commisioned this defect can recycling unit.
They did 20 cans in about 15min in the past…we tested the system for 1hour and ran trough 3/4 of a pallet of cans.
One very happy client.

Today we had a reoccurring fault (second time in 4 months). The first time we only replaced the contactor and today we did a complete retro fittment to the system from a 3 contactor setup to a 4 contactor setup ( 2 speed motor) . Out with the 4pole (28amp) contactor and replaced with 2x 3pole (38amp) contactors complete with timer between speeds.

4 pole contactors are not that readily available😅 and thus in the future if the slow or fast contactor gives in, it will be a easy and relatively cheap repair.

Small changes make a huge difference.

Auto valve system for a hopper.
No need to do any work by hand. Simply switch on the panel and watch the magic happen. If the product is below a certain temperature the hopper door opens and if the conveyer hopper reaches 80% the door will automatically close. Removing any human error. Even in load shedding the hopper door will close before product is spilled.
Demo video to follow the moment the plant is in full swing.
