We return from a posting hiatus to highlight a common victim in your home over the winter season. The garage door sweep! Rodents frequently chew through the sweep to get at tasty things in the garage like bird and grass seed, or to get out of cold weather. Fortunately they usually cant get into the house itself from the garage. We recommend replacing damaged door sweeps with more durable versions to prevent nesting in your garage and damage to items stored there.

Reminder to all our followers to be vigilant about mosquito larva breeding grounds. Spring means wet ground and alot of rain, which can create a huge variety of water filled areas in even small properties that can make big mosquito problems. Some of the most dangerous species of disease carrying mosquito are considered "tree hole" mosquitos, and breed best in small, stagnant pools of water. emptying your April showers from flower pots, wheel barrows and clearing clogged gutters can save you a ton of mosquito trouble going into the warmer parts of the year.

Stink bug season is beginning. It's important to know that the best time to treat them is when they sit on the exterior of the home soaking in the sun. If left alone, their next destination is inside. We won't let them get that far.
