Welcome to an exciting start to 2025. Last year was yet another growing year for me with lots of potential, however it has come to my attention this week that in the last 5 months or more if you have tried to contact me via my contact page on my website unfortunately I have not been receiving them. There is an issue with the site and if you press send, it looks like it has sent however unfortunately this isn’t the case and I have only found this out this week with a message on my landline number from a potential customer. The final result up close and personal. The customer was totally overwhelmed with how it come out, exceeding their expectations. The video really doesn’t do the depth and the intricate details justice. This is such a different and cost effective way to add some personality to your kitchen or bathrooms. You can even cover up your old tiles. No need to demo and change the entire look of you kitchen over night.

Once the customer was happy with the fitting and a sample board of colours was signed off ( which they matched to a painting they had brought ) I could finally pour and was left to create a piece of functional art work for their kitchen.

RESIN SPLASH BACKS AND PANELLING. Customer asked for something out of the norm for their kitchen, instead of tilling. A short site visit and some issues discussed ( taps being to close to the wall meaning a short over hang of windowsill ) meant that their original plan of having all their splash back done in a seamless design ( which can be attained using resin ) was not possible so a compromise had to be made. Pictures showing the process to make fitted lightweight panels ready to apply finished design on.

Photos do not do the depth of the piece justice so I made a little video. I was not allowed to show the finished product on the grave for obvious reason but with the black marble of the grave surround and this beautiful emerald blue effect the customer was over the moon.

Had a little delicate job over Christmas. Customer enquired with “ what wouldn’t I resin “ Curiosity I replied anything can be resined as long as it fit certain criteria. ( or can be made to ) They then asked about a grave. I was a bit confused until I was sent this picture, and they wondered could I do something similar but with blues and greens. After a small board was cut to size with a hole to go over the rose bowl in the middle. The underside was sealed with resin first to make shore the wood would be sealed from the environment and never rot away, I then poured this beautiful galaxy effect with the colours the customer had chosen

Customer enquired what could be done to his old white washed oak table, as he was fed up with how it looked but didn’t want to get rid of it. after a site visit and some discussion we had a plan to use the colour of a painting in the room to fill the deep cracks in the wood and add some strategic ones my self and strip back the white wash to expose the beautiful natural old oak colourings, as well as fixing some issues the customer had done to modify the table to seat more people. After a sample board was made it was decided that there wasn’t as much colour coming out as they had hoped so we decided a new plan. To fill a stretch along the middle so to look like a table runner as such. As you can see, the end result looks very modern with a retro style and fitted the brief perfectly and they just could not wait to host there first dinner party on it and show it off.

Customer was fed up re oiling there island with a grey rubicon moon coat, every couple of months as it would wear of easily. Suggestion! Why not have a hard wearing resin piece of art poured over the top of your existing work surface…… after a sit visit and some discussions on colours and effects a colour scheme of peacock was decided so I made some sample boards.

This job started as a enquiry about what could be done to this impressive bit of African wood, as it had some large splits at each end which would overtime dry and split further with age. Together with the customer and there carpenter/kitchen fitter. We come up with a plan and some ideas and we let it run from there. The split could be tamed with bow ties and some nice brass ties was found only thing left was to decide on the colour to fill the cracks with. It was decided a nice gold/bronze mix to highlight the ties but not over power the amazing colours in the wood.
