A lot of people are asking me this after last night’s hail storm:

“How does a roof insurance claim actually work?”

Here’s the simple version:

1️⃣ You get a free roof inspection to check for hail damage.
2️⃣ If damage is present, you file a claim with your insurance company.
3️⃣ The insurance company sends an adjuster to inspect the roof.
4️⃣ If approved, they cover the cost of replacing the damaged portions of the roof (minus your deductible).

Most homeowners don’t realize this — but hail damage is one of the most common claims insurance companies pay for.

My job is simply to:
✔ Inspect the roof
✔ Document damage
✔ Meet with the adjuster if needed
✔ Make sure the homeowner is treated fairly
