Winter garden photo-dump! It is pretty awesome to be harvesting bok choy and lettuce as well as peppers and tomatoes with how mild temperatures have been. South Texas giveth for now, but I know it can, and probably will, taketh in the next two months.

Took 2 years, but finally got carrots right. First year, started them too late and germination was atrocious and the weather was much too hot. Second year, sowed them much earlier but never got around to thinning which resulted in “shoe-string” carrots. I won’t take all the credit this year as the weather has been a HUGE help. Cheers to a successful carrot harvest with many more still to pick!

For those interested in planting yarrow, this is a heads up. They spread by rhizomes just as Bermuda grass or raspberries do. That’s something to be cognizant about when selecting a spot for them. They WILL takeover.
