Bathroom refurbishment. 🛁

We took this room back to the brickwork and got it reboarded and plastered. Big thanks to .A Plastering for their help on this job.

We then fitted:

✅ Extractor fan
✅ New skirting and arches
✅ Ply to floor in preparation for linoleum
✅ Tiling
✅ New appliances.

A good job all round.

Boiler refurbishment ✅

It's been a busy few days sorting out this new boiler system on a second-floor flat. The old boiler was replaced with a new combi boiler with a magnetic filter, wireless thermostat and programmer.

We've moved the wiring for easy access for the customer and any future work - although that shouldn't be necessary.😉

The back wall has been boarded, pipework boxed in, and the tiles have been extended to meet the new work.

A big thanks to KJ Bradley Home Improvements for helping with the external brickwork. ✅

Out with the old, in with the new? 😅

We enjoyed this job. The customer asked if we could replace the old taps with the exact same make, model, and colour as the old ones.

Sure, no problem ✅

We did remove the old taps from the basin, we didn't leave them there 😂

Maybe we should have done a spot the difference 😂

In with the new ✅

A "straight-forward" boiler replacement (if there is such a thing). Not only was the old boiler due an update; this new boiler is more efficient, more cost-effective and has better heating control for the house.

This bathroom is complete 🛁

Over the past couple of days we have been busy getting the following jobs done:

✅ Tiles finished and grouted
✅ Shower pipework installed
✅ Shower fitted
✅ Towel radiator on
✅ New taps all round
✅ New bath panel
✅ Install a new shower screen

The finer details of this job really bring the bathroom to life. The contrast between the black accessories, beige wall tiles and pattern floor tiles are incredible.

It's over to the customer now for the finishing touches. 😍

Bathroom project 🛁

We've started a bathroom transformation, giving a once-plain space a new lease of life. The first step is getting the tiles in. It wasn't all plain sailing, as there were a few things that needed sorting:

✅ New plasterboard where the old tiles had been removed
✅ Delicate cuts around existing waste pipes
✅ Patience as the fragile wall tiles kept chipping and breaking
✅ Forward planning of the floor tiling

There's a bit more to do on this job, as we still need to install a new shower and fit new accessories.
