To me, marriage has never been a flat, monochromatic palette. It is always a vibrant blend of diverse colors and shifting tones—just like the natural Australian Opal I set at the heart of this Hommy engagement ring.

Watching it rotate slowly under my macro lens, the pentagonal cushion shape I designed to follow the natural contour of the finger reminds me of a home—a sanctuary protecting the rhythmic play-of-color shifting under the light.

The green of fresh beginnings and the promise to grow together through every change.

The violet of understanding, devotion, and sacred, private moments.

The sweet pink of grace and daily care for one another...

Unlike the bursting excitement of winning the Silver Award in the Jewelry Design category at the A' Design Award last year, I received the A' Design Award 2026 for the pentagonal Hommy ring with calm reflection, as the result closely matched expectations.

Although this year's Industrial Design shield carries a more modest weight than last year's Silver cup, this piece demanded much of my time to distill thoughts and dreams of married life into a simple, comfortable ring, truly built for daily wear.

Over a year and a half since the first prototype in late 2024, I underwent continuous real-world wear testing for necessary adjustments, before submitting the finalized second version in early 2026.

With this year’s award, I am fortunate to contribute 2 more points for Vietnam on the World Design Rankings.

I believe jewelry should look beautiful, yet feel kind—especially in the places only the wearer will ever know.

Entering the A' Design Award in Italy for the second consecutive year, I am proud to share that my pentagonal Hommy ring has been recognized in the Industrial Design category. While this is a more understated recognition than last year’s Silver Award, it represents a milestone of gentle, practical improvements that I deeply value.

The pentagonal shape of Hommy was designed to soothe the small, daily discomforts of wearing a traditional round band: the red marks left on the skin when choosing a tight fit to keep the stone centered, the frustrating spinning of a top-heavy ring, or the sharp pinch when gripping everyday objects. It was never about chasing a visual sensation.

Born from years of quietly observing the hands of my wife, family, and friends, the concept took shape in late 2024 with my first prototype. Throughout 2025, I gently reworked and refined its form—tuning the inner curvature, thoughtfully placing every single accent stone, and sculpting protective gold bezels to cushion the center Opal. The finalized second version was completed and submitted in early 2026.

For myself, this represents a patient, years-long devotion to quiet listening and refining. Hommy stands apart from fleeting trends or sudden ideas; it is a silent gesture of care over time, crafted to offer the wearer ultimate ease.

I am pleased to share this quiet joy with my friends and kindred spirits.

This bracelet was created for a girl whose nickname is Avocado — a name that already feels soft and full of life.

In 14K gold, with touches of green tourmaline and green garnet, the piece carries a gentle freshness…

After receiving the Silver Prize – Top 5% of the highest-rated jewelry designs at the A’ Design Award 2025 (Italy), I once thought the journey had come to an end.
But in truth, it was only the beginning — a new dialogue between myself and the world.

From the simple questions of the public to the in-depth exchanges with journalists and fellow designers, every interview became an opportunity to share my design philosophy and the creative story behind The Galaxie Collection.

As I moved through each question, I felt more deeply the distinct values I have steadfastly pursued — values that now find resonance and appreciation amidst a vibrant market.

Through these conversations, I came to recognize the seriousness, professionalism, and genuine spirit of creativity that the A’ Design Award celebrates — an award that not only acknowledges achievement, but also nurtures the beauty and artistic value of design itself.
