The Illinois Dunesland Garden Club presents their free annual Garden Walk & Raffle event being held on Saturday, June 27th. Start by coming to the Zion-Benton Public Library (2400 Gabriel Avenue, Zion IL) from 9:30am to 2:30pm to collect the map for all the gardens. Before you head out to those gardens buy some raffle tickets for great prizes. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday. 🥰👍🏻

Some of my favorite mid Spring blooms are flowering now. My really favorite Tree Peonies are starting to bloom, but my herbaceous (green stem) Peonies haven’t started to bloom yet. Sweet Woodruff, Spring Woodland Phlox, Johnny-jump-up, Old Fashioned Weigela, Globe Allium & my front porch are blooming beautifully. Take a walk with me.
