1. It wobbles or shakes while running
A little movement can be normal, but heavy wobbling can mean the fan is loose, unbalanced, or improperly mounted.
2. It makes grinding, buzzing, or clicking noises
Strange sounds can point to worn-out parts, loose hardware, or wiring issues that should not be ignored.
3. It no longer cools the room well
Older fans can lose efficiency over time. A newer fan can move air better and help your HVAC system work less.
4. It looks outdated or does not match the room anymore
Replacing an old fan is a simple way to refresh a bedroom, living room, office, or porch without a full remodel.
5. The lights flicker or the fan speed acts weird
If the light flickers, the fan randomly slows down, or the switch does not work right, it may be time for a safer, updated replacement.

Your ceiling fan might be telling you it’s time for an upgrade. If it’s wobbling, noisy, outdated, barely moving air, or giving you flickering lights, don’t ignore it. Awar Electric can help replace it safely and make sure it’s installed the right way!

Some jobs teach you how to follow instructions.

This trade teaches you how to think, adjust, communicate, and problem solve in real time.

And honestly, that’s a skill a lot of people never get the chance to fully develop.

At Awar Electric, we’re grateful for the work because every job challenges us to get better, move smarter, and do things the right way.

We’re currently looking to hire an electrician who takes pride in the craft and can represent our company well in the homes we serve.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 3-5 years minimum residential electrical experience
• Professional, knowledgeable communication with clients
• Reliable transportation
• Availability Monday-Friday, 8 AM-6 PM, with the occasional Saturday

If that sounds like you or someone you know, reach out to Awar Electric.

For us, under cabinet lighting is one of those upgrades people don’t think they need until they have it.
It adds better visibility, makes cooking and cleaning easier, and gives your kitchen a cleaner, more finished look without a full remodel.
So what do you think, overrated or actually necessary?

1. If an outlet stops working, check nearby GFCI outlets first.
Bathrooms, kitchens, garages, laundry rooms, and outdoor outlets are often connected to a GFCI. Press reset before assuming the outlet is bad.
2. Label your electrical panel before there’s an emergency.
Flip breakers one at a time and write down what each one controls. This saves a lot of stress later!
3. Keep outdoor outlets protected.
Make sure outdoor outlet covers close properly and cords are not sitting in water or exposed to weather.
4. Change bulbs before assuming a fixture is broken.
Try a new bulb and make sure it is the correct wattage for the fixture.
5. When in doubt, have it checked by a licensed electrician.
Electrical issues are not always worth guessing on! For repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting, EV chargers, panels, lighting, or remodel wiring, reach out to Awar Electric and we’ll make sure it’s done safely, cleanly, and right the first time.

Some lessons are learned the hard way, and that's okay! 😂

But cheap electrical work usually costs more in the long run:

• Safety isn’t negotiable, poor electrical work can lead to faults, shocks or even fire risks.
• You’ll pay twice, cheap work often means costly call-backs, repairs and fixing what should’ve been done right the first time.
• Quality lasts, proper workmanship means safer, cleaner installs that stand the test of time.
• Licensed experience matters, knowing the job is done to county and state standards gives real peace of mind.

Good electrical work isn’t the cheapest quote. It’s the one you only pay for once. ⚡️
