Thank you to all my new followers from Louisiana! I’ll be sharing more of my work soon 🤍 I’ve already posted my two most recent backsplashes, along with one I did for my grandma, all completed on my own 😇 My last two customers even gave me referrals, so leaving that behind honestly broke my heart a little.
Some of the photos I haven’t posted yet are from when I was an apprentice. I started part time, so a lot of those pictures are just sections I personally worked on rather than full kitchens 💔
A little about me… I went to a vocational high school in PA for Commercial & Advertising Art, then continued in that direction for a few semesters in college. I ended up falling in love with warehouse work (painting & electroplating), eventually getting promoted into an office role. In 2021, I bought my first home and made a career switch into the granite countertop industry, where I was also exposed to tile and flooring. That’s where I met the contractor I later apprenticed with!
I took a leap, left that job (and my home), and started doing tile work while working part-time to finish my Business Administration degree. After graduating, I visited Louisiana… and fell in love. So here I am!
Now I’m back in an office with an amazing small business in spray foam & solar, but I truly miss working with my hands and having that creative go-to. I’d love to share my skills with people here during my evenings and weekends.
