As we prepare our trailer for another site, we thought we'd give you a "tour" of the trailer that helps get it done.

Nothing like a place for everything so that everyone can find the tools they need. Shout out to for making it easy to organize a trailer and have an array of cordless tools!

For the past couple weeks, the shop has been laying out the reclaimed timbers for the addition to The Barns at Wolf Trap. This frame is being crafted from a slightly adapted barn that was taken down in Leesburg, VA. After purchasing reclaimed timbers to replace those that were rotted or failing, we refit all the joints, walls, bents and cleaned the timbers. The frame will be delivered later this week to be erected behind the existing venue by our foreman shown here, Anthony Rife with the LCTF team. We are so thankful for our partnership with Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and L.F. Jennings and the Wolf Trap Foundation.

Relationships with clients are important to us. We love partnering with clients, builders and architects. Our relationship with Ken at Stone Mill Inn is an example of the type of relationship we like to form with the people we work with. We are grateful, truly.

Also thankful for our relationship with Virtual Tour PA that allows us this type of footage to share.

We are excited to finally release footage of our completed "sneak peek"! The Woodlands at Stone Mill Inn is the 3rd project at this site in Hallam, PA. We love the inspiration of the Sycamore tree off in the distance and the design eye of the owners Ken and Karen.

The frame was developed with "trees" as posts. All timbers are handcrafted from Douglas Fir with a custom finish color.

We love how it came together and hope for many years of celebration memories in that space. Thank you to for another great project!

There's nothing better than a quiet afternoon on a site, putting in pegs to secure a frame....birds, building, beauty.

We recently installed a pagoda designed fully from a concept picture by our talented design staff. This was certainly both an intriguing and challenging project. All timbers are Douglas Fir, KlearGard treated. Decking boards are also Douglas Fir. The steel panels were custom designed by our very own Josiah Zimmerman and fabricated at our local steel manufacturer (shoutout to IronStrong Metal Fab).

We are lovingly calling it our jenga project. Each piece fit and layered into place. Each piece handcrafted with care by our crew.
