We took this bathroom from dated black-and-white tile and a pedestal sink to a bright, modern space.

We removed the old flooring and fixtures, then installed a new shower base and surround with built-in shelves and black shower hardware. A new wood-tone vanity, sink, faucet, and toilet gave the room a fresh look and added much-needed storage.

We replaced the tile with wood-look flooring, upgraded the lighting with recessed lights and matching vanity sconces, and finished everything with fresh paint, white trim, a black-framed mirror, and coordinating accessories.

We turned the old screened-in porch and worn outdoor stairways into a beautiful, finished living space and completely updated exterior.

The project included:

• New composite decking and stairs
• Black railings with white finishes
• New covered porch areas
• Enclosed and finished interior living space
• New flooring, recessed lighting, trim and paint
• New exterior door and windows
• Large pass-through opening connecting the kitchen and living room
