That is FALSE.

If it’s 105° outside, that doesn’t mean you should accept your house being 85° inside. A properly designed, correctly sized, and properly operating system should maintain the indoor temperature it was designed for—even during a Texas summer.

If your home won’t maintain temperature, something needs to be checked:

✅ Refrigerant charge
✅ Airflow and ductwork
✅ Insulation and air leakage
✅ Equipment sizing
✅ Overall system performance
