Phase two of Basement project. Finished up the electrical finish enough for lights and plugs in bedroom. Customer is still deciding on paint color for bedroom. Did some touch up on the walls and ceilings for drywall stuff. Finished the soffit around the plumbing in the living room area, with some help from my DEWALT POWER TOOLS green laser to help me keep things straight without the nasty chalk lines. All done for the time being, till floors are decided on, then baseboards.

Phase two of basement project. We have doors. Had to do some tweaking to the openings and do some custom cutting on the doors and frames to make everything work properly. Now to finish up with trim around the doors and entry way of stairs and waiting for carpet to be installed. To finish off with baseboards.

Back at it for phase two of the basement project. Customer asked if there was any chance that I could close off this hole at the end of the ductwork. I was like, sure let me see what I can come up with. Bam!! Since I was limited for hand space. I came up with just make the sheet rock flush with the bottom of the ductwork. Might have to charge extra for the geometry I had to do. 😉😉🤣🤣. Taping has also commenced.

Did a mailbox concrete pad for a new cluster box. As the old current mailbox setup is deteriorating and unstable. Had to make a custom sleeve for existing irrigation supply line. My handy dandy kiddie pool came in handy for clean up after I was done mixing concrete.

Be back later to strip forms and put extra soil and grass back.

Well it’s been a while since my last update for the basement project, due to dealing with my insurance company. Now that I’ve cleared stuff up. Got back at a few weeks ago for phase 2 bed room ceiling completed. Now to start with taping, topping and skimming to make ready for texture.
