Woodford County Saturday nights 🔥

Doe patrol was on the docket for date night and Jacob delivered. Great night of hunting, the deer woods were alive, with a lot of close calls for everyone and more memories to relive over and over.

There’s nothing quite like the moment all the hard work, early mornings, long sits, and countless hours in the woods finally come together. That moment happened for John on an opening day sit the afternoon of October 1st.

This buck was everything we dream of chasing during bow season — a mature Illinois whitetail and an unforgettable hunt. To be able to put it all together and share it with friends and family is priceless.

A memory we’ll carry with us for a long time. Thankful for the opportunity, the outdoors, and the pursuit of these incredible animals.

Just getting warmed up in this 2026 season.

Recap for the 2025 WHITETAIL SEASON — IN THE BOOKS.

Another season chasing mature whitetails across the timber, fields, and creek bottoms of Woodford County.

The early mornings. The long sits. The close calls. The rattling antlers. The memories made in the stand.

Some days ended with a tag filled, others with nothing but a story — but every sit was another opportunity to learn, grow, and appreciate what makes chasing whitetails so special.

2025 gave us some incredible deer, unforgettable encounters, and plenty of memories that will last long after the season ends. Stay tuned for what's in store for 2026.

Checking in with another great group of bucks that we've had the blessing to hunt this season.

This group includes bucks shot by John, Jacob, Mason(One in Illinois and one in Oklahoma), Drew, and Zailey, Drew's daughter, who shot her first buck this year. Super cool to see the next generation get involved in the outdoors and love it just as much as us!

A few of the guys still have tags in their pockets so stay tuned for, hopefully, one last update for the season!

We aren't very active on here anymore, but wanted to share a few good ones we've been able to wrap a tag around the past couple of seasons. Hopefully more to come this year. The rut is hot in Illinois right now, Good Luck out there!

Congrats to our very own Jacob Fehr for shooting a buck we called "OG" yesterday evening. Mid October cold fronts can produce!
We've got some history with this deer and it was awesome to finally get our hands on him last night. He's a main frame 10 with a split g2. He carries his frame out wide...another impressive Woodford County buck.
Things are going to start heating up even more these next couple of weeks. Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Food Plot Update:

The new bottom plot we cleared and planted is really starting to pop, especially the forage oats! We couldn't be happier with the progress this plot has made so far and are definitely thankful for some timely rains. This plot will change the game on this property. One month to go!
