Ravello. Handcrafted in Italy.

Artisanal textured stoneware. Rustic yet refined. Distinctive patina and texture. No two pieces are alike. Subtly powerful. Ravello is a sophisticated stoneware suitable for spaces in and out. Modern. Elegant. Earthy.

Jorge is celebrating 30 years working for Sonoma Tilemakers. Simply stated, wow! This is a really amazing milestone, and one he now shares with only a small handful of his coworkers. Jorge currently works as a lead within the bisque firing team, with a focus on operating the engobing line. But Jorge has of course, worked in a multitude of departments during his extensive career with STM, including glaze making, and glaze application. Jorge has always been very comfortable learning new processes, and has a habit of making himself indispensable wherever he works. He has therefore, accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years, which the STM team continues to draw on. Pick an area, and chances are that Jorge has contributed extensively to that department at some point during his tenure.

It is a great privilege to acknowledge Jorge Mendoza for his three-decades of ongoing contribution to the Sonoma Tilemakers team, and we look forward to working with Jorge during his next decade.

Happy 20th Work Anniversary, Diane

Before she joined our Operations team, many of our distributors knew Diane Harbaugh as the friendly voice in Customer Service. She built lasting relationships through her product knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care for every customer.
Today, Diane is a key part of our Operations team, where she keeps production running smoothly by coordinating materials from suppliers around the world. Her professionalism, strong work ethic, and no-nonsense approach help ensure orders stay on track and meet STM's high standards. And while she's known for tackling challenges head-on, she does it with a great sense of humor and kindness.
We're grateful to have Diane on the STM team and appreciate everything she does!

Help us in wishing Happy 20 years to Jose!

Jose is currently our swing shift lead, working in the forming and bisque firing department. Over the past 20 years, Jose has learned almost all the different forming processes we have. And that has translated into a lot of knowledge, experience, and problem-solving; especially with pressing, extruding, and kiln firing.

Jose is extremely detail oriented, and monitors a variety of forming processes very closely. But what has made Jose successful, is that he isn’t proprietary about his knowledge. He generously shares that knowledge with his team, and is a solid communicator.

This year marks a great milestone, and we are grateful to have Jose working with us these two decades (and counting).

Congratulations!
