Electrical Contracting Company | Full-Time

We’re a growing electrical contracting company looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to help us bid projects accurately and profitably while supporting our operations and project teams.

What You’ll Do:

📐 Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial and service projects
📐 Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
📐 Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations
📐 Solicit and evaluate supplier and vendor pricing

Quick basement rough in for our good friends at D&B Construction. 16 outlets, 12 lights jumped out, existing lighting split and back on for the untouched side of the basement. Home runs pilled, and line for the heat pump pulled. Boxes made up and ready for finish out after the drywall. And yes despite the joke of electricians don’t clean up after themselves we swept the whole basement out once we were done.

The guys are getting in some more frozen ground work. RES school in Raymond is getting 3 200kw cat propane generators parallelled together. 2 gas vaporizers to draw eff identity from the bottom of the tank farm, as well as a future ship building. All the conduit work in the ground is what no one ever sees. Each generator has a 9x14 opening to hit with all the conduits. So layout and measurements is crucial at this step. Tomorrow I’ll be laying all the conduits from distribution boxes to the generators and the special combiner box.

This has been another design build as we go which has become a speciality of J. Wolfe electric is to design build and adapt to changing site conditions on the fly.

We got a new tool today for moving and setting generators. This motorized Koliath cart is pretty sweet. We moved and set 2 generators today with ease with this cart. No damage to the lawns. Picks up the generator and moves it over the pad.
