Smith-Talbert is looking for an experienced Pipe Crew Foreman to lead our pipe crews on water and sewer installation projects across the Carolinas.

As a Project Foreman, you would oversee your pipe crew on each project you are responsible for. That includes making sure your crew installs items per the plans and specifications, picking up your crew for work and keeping them on time, maintaining a safe working environment for STC crews, notifying someone when stakes, locating, or materials are needed, and keeping crews on track to complete jobs on schedule.

Must have: • Driver's license and clean driving record • Experience installing water and sewer utilities

A new job is underway in Godwin, NC. Erasmo and crew are on site at Godwin Subdivision, a new 116-lot residential development near Dunn & Fayetteville NC.

We are working to install miles of piping for water mains that will supply clean drinking water to every home, gravity sewer lines that carry waste away from the neighborhood, and a force main that pumps sewage uphill when gravity alone can't do the job.

Running a CAT 335 and CAT 313 excavator alongside a CAT 924 loader, the crew is working through over two miles of pipe installation in total, with some of those sewer lines going down as deep as 12 feet below grade.

We're expecting this job to continue through the summer and wrap up in August.

We are currently underway on a utility infrastructure project for YMCA Camp Kirkwood. We are transitioning the camp off its legacy septic system and connecting it to Pender County sewer services.

Project Scope:
• 2,169 linear feet of 4" PVC sewer force main installation
• Right-of-way clearing
• (3) 4" directional drills
• (1) 4" valve vault
• (5) 4" air release valve vaults
• Connection to new sewer pump station (being installed by Water and Waste Solutions).

Work is underway along Highway 17 in Hampstead on the King Tide commercial development. This site will soon feature a coffee shop, a flooring warehouse, and a retail showroom.

STC is leading all underground utility work, including new 8-inch gravity sewer and waterline installations, a sewer pump station, 2-inch force main, and a complete storm drain system.

Erasmo Saliano’s crew is on-site driving progress each day, keeping the project moving efficiently and safely as this new development takes shape.
