Our Carolina Beach homeowners wanted a bathroom that flowed with the rest of their home, so out went the original fiberglass tub and shower, and in comes a custom walk-in shower. 🌊
We started by tearing out the old tub and shower down to the studs, then moved into prep with waterproof backer board and a sealed shower pan. It’s the part nobody sees, but everything depends on it. From there, the tile went in. The design and tile selections came from the talented team at wood-look fluted tile on the side walls and half wall, ocean-blue square tile on the back wall, a built-in niche, and a pebble floor.
Next up, we’ll install quartz caps on the half wall and curb, then finish it off with custom frameless glass. Stay tuned for the final reveal!
