Ran across this plant while clearing black berries today.
My plant app says it’s called Maypop or Passion flower.
To be honest I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it, or maybe I just haven’t noticed it before.
The large green seed pods are about the size of a lime

Ran across this big copper head today, he did not survive trying to bite the mulcher

We cleared this 30 acre pasture a couple years ago, it had not been touched in 40 years and was over grown with lots of hedge, cedars and huge blackberry thickets.
Today we are back to do a quick cleanup of the hedge sprouts that have shot back up.
Just a one day job to clear all those little hedges out on 30 acres.
