A new vanity doesn’t always mean a simple installation. This cabinet required relocating the water supply lines, adapting the drain around a stud and load-bearing wall, and making precise modifications to the cabinet for a clean final fit.

The result is a finished vanity installation with soft-close drawers and properly adapted plumbing.

Clean water starts at the main water line. In this installation, we added a whole-home water filter at the main water entry point, secured the housing, connected the plumbing, and tested the system for proper flow and leaks.

A simple upgrade that helps filter water throughout the home.

For this vanity installation, we brought in new water supply lines and connected them to the existing copper using ProPress connections.

We also installed a new sanitary tee with a ProFlex connector to transition between different pipe materials. This allowed us to properly connect the existing PVC, galvanized, and copper plumbing and create a reliable setup for the new vanity.

With the plumbing reworked and in place, we completed the vanity installation, including an illuminated medicine cabinet for a clean and functional finishing touch.

This bathroom vanity replacement turned into a larger project once we opened the wall and found plumbing that needed to be reworked.

We replaced the old vanity, reconfigured the plumbing to work with the new cabinet, and addressed the existing connections behind the wall. Careful adjustments were also needed around the existing framing to make everything fit properly.

The finished bathroom now features a new vanity with soft-close drawers, an illuminated medicine cabinet with adjustable lighting and color temperature, and a new pull-out faucet.

The result is a cleaner, more functional space with plumbing properly configured behind the new vanity, giving this bathroom a fresh look while addressing the issues that weren't visible from the outside.

Sometimes a simple-looking upgrade requires a little more work behind the wall to get the job done right.

Replacing a vanity can sometimes uncover plumbing issues that need to be addressed before the new cabinet can be installed.

In this case, we opened up the wall to correct several problems, including a corroded sanitary tee that had previously been patched with silicone and PVC, as well as multiple transitions and fittings inside the wall.

The new vanity also has drawers, which meant we couldn’t simply enlarge the cabinet cutout. Instead, we’re reconfiguring the plumbing to properly accommodate the new layout.

By cleaning up the existing connections and rebuilding the plumbing correctly, we can create a more reliable installation designed to last for many years.

Replacing a bathroom vanity can sometimes uncover plumbing problems that have been hidden inside the wall for years.

For this project, the existing plumbing had several issues, including a corroded sanitary tee, improper connections, and mixed materials that needed to be reworked. The plumbing also had to be relocated to accommodate the new vanity while working around the existing wall framing.

We opened the wall, removed the problem areas, and reconfigured the plumbing using new water supply lines, ProPress connections, and a new sanitary tee with a ProFlex connector to properly transition between different pipe materials.

Once the plumbing was corrected, we installed the new vanity, illuminated medicine cabinet, faucet, and updated fixtures. The result is a clean, functional bathroom with properly reconfigured plumbing designed for reliable use for years to come.
