Most people are putting their lawn tools away after Labor Day… but YOU? You’re about to outsmart winter and set your lawn up to FLOURISH come spring 🌱✨

Here’s what you need to know:

📚 WHY Fall Fertilizer Matters:
The secret to a thick, green, envy-of-the-neighborhood lawn in spring starts NOW. When you fertilize in the fall, you're feeding the roots (not the blades)—and that’s what helps your grass store energy, survive the winter, and bounce back stronger. 💪

🧪 What to Look for in a Fertilizer:
Look for a product with a higher potassium (K) count—the 3rd number on the fertilizer label. Here's the breakdown:

▪️Nitrogen (N): Encourages blade growth (you’ll want LESS of this in fall).
▪️Phosphorus (P): Helps roots develop (often limited due to regulations).-should be zero in our area (WY) because our soil has adequate phosphorus
▪️Potassium (K): Boosts hardiness, disease resistance, and winter survival. ✔️

💡 A great fall blend might look like 6-0-20 or 10-0-14, depending on your lawn’s needs.

🛑 Pro Tip: Don’t over-fertilize. More isn’t better—it’s burnout. Let your lawn REST and recharge. 😴
