Congrats Andrew!

I did manage to have time to make this custom peace for a friend of mine who is graduating law-enforcement Academy. Now he’ll have a spot to store his duty weapon and his body armor.

Made from locally sourced butternut wood out of Merrill Wisconsin. Really turned out sweet.

Haven’t posted much as recent been very busy with work and family and haven’t had a whole lot of time to play in the shop. But here’s camp kitchen version two almost ready to go to the campground.

Decided to make it modular to make it easier to transport and used ship building techniques to waterproof the cabinet wood.

1) seal all surfaces with marine grade epoxy.
2) prime with aggressive oil based primer.
3) and then finally paint with a marine grade exterior acrylic paint.

The bar top is a single piece of butcher block with multiple coats of marine grade varnish. Can’t wait to get this up to the campground and see how it works.
