After 30 years in the union, Scott Underwood is officially trading in the jobsite for retirement! 🎉🔨
Scott is the definition of a self-starter. He has never been someone who was satisfied just knowing his own job. He was always ready to learn the next thing, take on the next challenge, and figure out how to make the whole team better.
As a foreman, Scott has been an incredible leader and mentor, especially to the younger guys coming up in the trade. He has shared his knowledge, led by example, and shown what hard work, craftsmanship, and taking pride in what you do really look like.
His experience will be hard to replace, but even more than that, Scott himself will truly be missed in the field.
Congratulations

7 YEARS.
And we’re just getting started. 🏗️

At the end of September, Rocky Ridge Construction celebrates 7 years in business.

Rocky Ridge was founded in 2019 by brothers Derek and Brandon, built from the ground up with hard work, years of experience in the trades, and a strong work ethic learned from the generations before them. Their dad & Pops spent their careers as union carpenters and passed down the value of hard work and pride in the craft. But Rocky Ridge wasn’t a business that was handed down. Derek and Brandon started it, funded it, and built it themselves.

Over the last seven years, our team has grown, our projects have grown, and the opportunities in front of us continue to grow. But the things that built Rocky Ridge haven’t changed: hard work, quality craftsmanship, strong relationships, and doing what we say we’re going to do.

We’re grateful for every employee who has helped us build this company, every general contractor and partner who has trusted us with their projects, and every family member and friend who has supported us along the way.

Seven years down. And there’s a whole lot more to build.

Built on hard work. Growing on trust.

Happy 7 Years, Rocky Ridge Construction! 🏗️

Another one underway! 👷‍♂️🔨

Our crew is getting started on the Strongsville Fire Station, and we’re proud to be part of a project that will serve the community for years to come.

There’s nothing better than seeing a new project start taking shape. Great work by our guys in the field getting this one rolling!

More progress to come. 🚧
