October is Careers in Construction Month.

So let’s say something we believe strongly:
The skilled trades are not a backup plan.

Construction offers an opportunity to build a career, master a craft, lead people and do work that communities literally depend on.

Some of the best people in our industry didn't start with a corner office. They started with boots on the ground and learned their craft one day at a time.

The crews who protect what you cannot see still showed up before the long weekend and they will show up after it.

Labor Day is for the operators, supers, and locators who make safe excavation look routine. Paint on the ground is not the pipe. A ticket is not a clearance. The work between those two is people.

Natalie serves as lead Dispatcher and is known by the team for her positive attitude, calm under pressure and ability to direct efforts like a conductor of a symphony.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys supporting her kids in all their various activities ( ).

Our trucks may carry the Discovery name, but our people build the Discovery reputation.

She did not build the company from the sidelines.

She built it through industry relationships, long days, difficult decisions, community response and a willingness to lead from the front.
