Living in the Western NC mountains means waking up to ridgelines, breathing clean air, and watching the seasons change right outside your door.

That’s why more homeowners are creating seamless indoor/outdoor living spaces—think large sliding doors, covered decks, screened porches, and outdoor kitchens that flow right into the main living areas.

The benefits?
• More usable square footage without adding a full addition
• Constant connection to nature, mountain views, and fresh air
• Perfect spots for morning coffee, evening dinners, or gathering with friends year-round
• A home that feels bigger, brighter, and more peaceful

In these mountains, the outdoors isn’t just a view—it’s part of the house.

Would you add an outdoor living space to your mountain home?

We enclosed the screen porch on our new home with large slider windows and added an outdoor fireplace, this will be one of our most utilized rooms in the new house.
