Another project wrapped up in Decorah!

This one included a little bit of everything. Both bathrooms recieved drywall repairs and a fresh coat of paint, including repairing the wall around a shower head, removing and patching an old recessed tissue box, repairing cracks and other damaged areas, and getting everything blended back together before repainting.

The bathroom walls were finished in Ashley Gray (Benjamin Moore HC-87), color-matched in Sherwin-Williams paint, giving both spaces a fresh, updated look while working well with the existing trim, tile, and fixtures.

I also replaced two ceiling fans and a light fixture, along with cleaning, prepping, and repainting the exterior garage door.

Recent Framing & Drywall Work

A couple of projects recently completed for a returning client!

Upstairs, an unfinished storage closet was transformed into a much cleaner, more usable space with new drywall that was hung, taped, and finished, getting the space ready for primer, paint, and the next stage of finishing. The sloped ceiling and tight working area made this one a little more challenging, but it was great seeing the space come together.

Downstairs, I framed out a future basement bathroom, working around the existing plumbing and utilities to get the space ready for the next stage of the project.

Viking Theater Interior Refresh

I recently had the opportunity to freshen up the interior of the Viking Theater in Decorah! Viking 3

This project included surface preparation, drywall repairs, and a fresh coat of paint throughout the interior. While the color stayed close to the existing look, the fresh finish helped brighten everything up and gave the space a clean, renewed appearance.

It was a pleasure working on a place that's been part of the Decorah community for so many years, and I appreciate the opportunity to help keep it looking its best.

Basement Transformation - Before & After
