The faces of Gerald MacKenzie Contractors! Jerry (President) & LeAnne (Vice President)! Let’s squash some rumors that seem to be on repeat!
☑️ We have not retired!
☑️We have not sold out to another company!
☑️We are still very much in business!
☑️ We did in fact stop the paving portion of our business to focus on the excavation and actual ground work portion, which is where his heart lays.
We are a year round contractor providing plowing and sanding during the winter months, Street Sweeping in the Spring, Excavation and emergency services (water/sewer) or new installations year round as weather permits! (Basically anything from the ground up with the exception of building and paving) Jerry has actually been in business since 1979! He had a dream and made it happen fresh out of high school! He hasn’t waivered from his business and hasn’t entertained the idea of selling. He has worked too hard! In his words “I’m Mr. Outside and she’s Mrs. Inside. Together we make a team” and yes there are times Mrs. Inside can be found working the jobs outside!

As 2025 comes to an end we want to thank all our amazing customers! Past, present and future! We had our hand in an array of projects this year including making a horse lovers back yard dream come true, replaced a couple septic systems, installed a new French drain, repaired a few catch basins, replaced an enormous catch basin and made a new homeowners land perfect to make many new memories in just to mention a few! With all that being said and done one project stands out… Bentley’s Make A wish playground. We were honored to work with Make A Wish, and donate our time. I want to take this time to acknowledge local vendors and individuals who discounted materials, donated materials, donated their time and skills as well as a few donations to make this all come together for Bentley!
