From 3D design to the finished build.

We recently wrapped up this 12 ft. × 9 ft. custom media wall, designed to complement our clients’ living space with a focus on comfort, everyday use, and room for their own personal style.

A 72-inch linear electric fireplace and warm recessed accent lighting add to the cozy atmosphere for movie nights, entertaining, or relaxing at home. The TV and soundbar each have a dedicated recessed niche, with acoustic slat panel accents adding depth & texture to the design.

Six recessed display niches provide space for family photos, collectibles, and seasonal decorations. Decorative baskets could also offer convenient storage for smaller items. There are plenty of ways to change up the displays over time and make the wall their own.

Behind the finished surfaces, framing and structural blocking give the wall a solid structure and provide secure support for the mounted TV. Two premium flush-mount shadowbox return vents, one on each side, allow for return airflow while maintaining a clean, finished look. The wall is painted in Sherwin-Williams’ Spiced Cedar, with finish carpentry extending through the base trim to complement the home's original finishes and style.

The people behind the project deserve just as much recognition as the finished result. Another tub/shower to walk-in shower conversion we just completed over the weekend. Sometimes you open things up and find exactly what you hoped you wouldn't. The subflooring was completely gone, and a few floor joists needed serious repair and reinforcement, all courtesy of water damage and carpenter ants. But that's where we shine. We mitigated all the issues and rebuilt everything from the ground up so this home will be structurally sound for the next 100 years! Now for the good news, we installed a brand new shower with sliding glass doors, a new toilet, and topped everything off with a new bath fan. Soft bathroom remodels can really change the look and feel of your space without completely changing everything. The homeowner absolutely loves her new setup and we're so excited about the end result!

Feel that fresh air! We just wrapped up a round of upgrades that prove the small details make the biggest difference. We installed brand-new Larson retractable screen doors on both the front and back entrances, tore out a drafty old exterior door and replaced it with a rock-solid new unit, and gave the double front doors a fresh coat of Red Barn SW-7591 from Sherwin-Williams
The result is a home that looks sharper from the curb and functions better day to day. Sometimes it's the subtle upgrades that make you fall in love with your space all over again.

Here at Zenith Improvements, we thrive on custom designs and one-of-a-kind projects, and this one was no exception. These homeowners came to us with a laundry space that was cluttered, cramped, and working against them every single day. They knew the result they were after and trusted us to bring it to life.
In the early phases, we did what we do best: we listened. We took the time to understand exactly how they used the space, what was frustrating them, and what their dream setup looked like. From there, we engineered a solution that struck the perfect balance, a hybrid of custom cabinetry and open storage shelving that turned a chaotic, disorganized room into a clean, functional, and genuinely enjoyable space to use.
The transformation speaks for itself. What was once a messy afterthought is now a streamlined laundry area with a place for everything.
With the laundry area complete, the homeowners decided to add an upgrade to the finished living space: brand-new 2-panel door slabs that brought a fresh, cohesive look to the rest of the home.
This is what happens when great clients and a skilled crew come together. Another custom project, another happy home.

We absolutely love building accent walls! 😍 Here we've taken some natural pine 1x8 carsiding contrasted with some various moulding profiles for the base and top cap followed by a nice semi gloss polyurethane sealer to finish it all off. We also built some removable panels to give the homeowners easy access to a crawlspace under their home addition and for a plumbing cleanout.

Adding an accent or media wall to your home or business is an excellent way to really break up a room and give it some storytelling specifically tailored to your personality or style. Every detail matters on a build like this, from the wood selection to the trim profiles to the access panels that keep the design clean without sacrificing function.
