A weekend wedding in the mountains this summer!

Homegrown harvest before the rain yesterday! Yes, that’s what my dinning room looks like with bowls of oasis soaking and buckets of fresh cut flowers from the garden.

The hydrangeas are killin’ it this year with their gigantic blooms. Taking this show on the road, North this weekend for a wedding! More to come!

Simply put... plants are cool!
Whether it was a spare seed tucked away in the nursery container that finally decided to grow, a gift dropped by a bird, or the result of a little cross-pollination magic, nature always finds a way.

This unexpected yellow coneflower blooming among the pinks is a beautiful reminder that gardens are constantly evolving and sometimes the best plants are the ones we never planned for.

The 4th of July always feels like the unofficial start of hydrangea season.

Almost overnight, they seem to burst into bloom, and this year the blues have been absolutely incredible!

Beautiful hydrangeas aren't just the result of pruning. They’re the product of proper site selection, healthy soil, consistent moisture, thoughtful fertilization, and knowing whether your variety blooms on old or new wood. Great gardening is about understanding the whole plant.

These summer showstoppers are definitely stealing the spotlight right now!

What a journey! Excited to take the next steps and become eligible for the newly established American Horticulture Therapy Associations Board Certified Horticulture Therapy Exams. It’s exciting to see Horticulture Therapy move to become recognized in this way!
